Why this matters

Language is the single biggest barrier to integration and career progression in Finland. Free courses are a major benefit worth using.

How it goes

If you registered as unemployed or are on an integration plan, TE Services offers subsidised or free Finnish courses. Helsinki and other cities also offer free language courses for residents. Universities run free Finnish courses for students. Many libraries have free language cafes and conversation circles.
