The service is excellent and comprehensive. During pregnancy there are maternity clinic (äitiysneuvola) appointments. After birth, a public health nurse (terveydenhoitaja) makes a home visit and then you have regular check-ups at the clinic. The nurse also helps with concerns about feeding, sleep, and development.
