Your UEF account unlocks Peppi (registration), eLearn Moodle, email, Eduroam, and library services. Strong identification is required.
Accept the Terms of IT Service Use online.
Check your personal information, choose your preferred name, choose a username (note: it cannot be changed later without a compelling reason), and create a password per the password rules.
Confirm information and accept the activation — your UEF email will form and the account/email can be used within four hours if your access rights are valid.
Complete strong identification: preferred method is Suomi.fi (Finnish online bank credentials). If unavailable, visit an IT Service Desk in person with an official ID or passport.
IT Service Desk locations: Joensuu — Carelia Library; Kuopio — Canthia Oppari. Access rights activate by the day after username activation, study right, registration as present/absent, and strong identification are all done.
