FSHS offers free or low-cost physical and mental healthcare for all degree students (including international students).
Report your Finnish personal identity code to FSHS via the OmaYTHS online service.
Non-EU students: pay the student healthcare fee via Kela (or via FSHS if outside the Kela system). EU/UK students: provide your EHIC or UK GHIC card to FSHS — this lets you use FSHS free of charge.
Log in to OmaYTHS at yths.fi to book appointments (general, dental, mental health).
For emergencies or cases FSHS can't cover, use public healthcare (Helsinki → Haartmanin sairaala emergency; Kuopio/Joensuu → local terveyskeskus).
