Register as an attending student and pay the HYY Student Union membership fee before arrival.
Arrange housing via HOAS, UniHome, BOTH, AnttiKorppi, or private listings.
Activate your UH user name (and email, Moodle access, Eduroam) via studies.helsinki.fi → University user accounts.
Order a certificate of student status from Sisu once your IT account is active — keep both digital and printed copies.
Activate your Frank student card (digital via app, or order a plastic card) and get your year tag from HYY Services Office.
Register at DVV for your personal identity code. Send the last four digits to international-studentinfo@helsinki.fi from your UH email.
Apply for HSL travel card student discount (ID + personal identity code at HSL Service Point), and register for your courses in Sisu.
